What’s your new year goal’s?

Wow, 2019 is approaching fast!

How did this year fair for you? Did you take any action toward your goals? or did you simply let normal life take over?

Setting goals is easy. However, achieving those goals is a whole other proposition. It takes commitment and perseverance to achieve those goals even in the early stages when it can take some time to see results.

Most people have given up on their New Year goal by February simply because normal life kicks in.

The festive holiday is over, the parties have stopped. It’s back to everything requiring effort again.

Keeping motivated is hard! and believe it or not your current life is a result of your daily habits. So what does that tell us? We need to change our daily habits.

The easy going holiday habits we’ve fallen into need ot be changed up to fit with our regular lifestyle Let’s take getting into better shape as an example, for a one-year goal.

Everyone thinks a gym membership will fix you, or a magical diet.

The simple truth is most poeple forgot that belonging to a gym will require a commitment to turn up and use the equipment.

A diet is a quick fix to lose some calories, the secret again is a commitment to eating healthier. How about personal growth as a Goal?

You could focus on reading a new book, one every month, that’s 12 books in a year, when was the last time you read a book?

My goal is to become the best version of myself. this is a goal I share with my team at SOLO Studios.

Through the martial arts I work on becoming a better Listener, my personal growth, becoming healthier. I practice gratitude.

I love helping others succeed.

And I love being around those that share my goals.

This new year why not make a list of key areas in your life that you would like to change ?

Make those improvements or changes 2019 goals.

Here are a few ideas to get you started

Family & Friendships: work on being a good listener and being there. Health: take steps daily to improve, drink more water, start some light exercises, walk more, start cutting out some foods that you know are not good for you and comittment to “move” your body every day

Personal Growth: Research who you are, change your mindset, listen to others that have achieved what you seek, read and read some more.

I could go on and on.

It’s food for thought that you don’t have to focus on massive goals. start simply. Look at little areas of your life that you’d like ot improve. or think of something, simply look at little areas of your life you’d like to improve, Notice I say improve, because if you’re on a path to improving, becoming “A Better You!” then you’ll be happy

We all know lots of material items will not make us happy, its life experiences and how we spend time on this planet that counts.

Why I created SOLO Studios this is why to share my passion through the material arts with others.
